After her sell-out Masters Show at The Slade, Leila married and went on to have her three children (her "muses!"). As Leila took on commissions for landscapes and portraits, she soon found herself with a client waiting list, and her paintings are in homes here in the UK, and abroad in Europe, US, Canada, Australia and Japan.

Leila wants to capture and intensify the colours she sees around, playing with colour harmonies and the texture of the oil paints to do this. She is always on the lookout for her next subject from the local woods where she walks her dog Alfie, to the hills and rivers of the British landscape, to tropical landscapes further afield. And when she’s at home, she loves capturing the fleeting beauty of flowers, and using objects and surfaces specially chosen to help offset them.
